1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using dearlybeloveddanceparty.com (“the Site”), purchasing tickets, signing up for communications, or participating in Dearly Beloved Dance Party events (“Events”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).
If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or attend our Events.

2. Description of Services

Dearly Beloved Dance Party provides:

  • Event information and registration

  • Ticket sales

  • Sponsorship opportunities

  • Information about vendors, partnerships, and related offerings

  • Email updates and communications

Services may change occasionally to improve user experience or event operations.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase tickets or attend Events unless otherwise stated.
By using the Site, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Ticket Purchases and Refunds

A. Ticket Sales

Ticket purchases are processed through third-party platforms (such as Eventbrite, Square, or similar). Their terms and policies also apply.

B. Refund Policy

All sales are generally final unless:

  • The event is canceled by us

  • The ticketing platform’s policies allow for exceptions

We reserve the right to refuse refunds for reasons including (but not limited to):

  • No-shows

  • Change of plans

  • Dissatisfaction unrelated to event operations

If an Event is canceled, we will provide instructions for refunds or credits.

5. Event Conduct

We expect all guests, vendors, staff, and attendees to behave respectfully and in alignment with our values of safety, inclusion, and celebration of queer community.

You agree not to:

  • Harass, harm, or intimidate any person at the Event

  • Engage in discriminatory or hateful behavior

  • Violate venue rules or laws

  • Bring prohibited items into the Event

We reserve the right to remove any individual who violates these expectations without refund.

6. Sponsorships

Businesses or individuals who purchase sponsorships agree to any guidelines outlined in their sponsorship tier agreement.
We reserve the right to decline or refund a sponsorship if the business or individual conflicts with our mission or values of safety, inclusivity, and queer celebration.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, event descriptions, photos, and media — is owned by This Is My LLC or used with permission.

You may not:

  • Reproduce, copy, or distribute any content without permission

  • Use our trademarks, branding, or event assets without written approval

8. User-Provided Content

If you submit content (e.g., reviews, comments, messages), you grant This Is My LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, or reproduce that content for promotional and operational purposes.

You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, hateful, or violates someone else’s rights.

9. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for convenience only.
We are not responsible for:

  • The content of those websites

  • Their privacy practices

  • Any damages arising from their use

Use them at your own risk.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and all services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
We make no guarantees that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that event details will always remain unchanged.

We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, This Is My LLC is not liable for any:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

  • Loss of data, profits, or goodwill

  • Personal injury or property damage occurring at or in connection with an Event

  • Damages arising from use of the Site or inability to access it

Your sole remedy is to discontinue use of the Site and, when applicable, request a refund according to our policies.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless This Is My LLC, its owners, employees, and partners from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Site

  • Your conduct at an Event

  • Your violation of these Terms

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update or revise these Terms at any time.
The updated version will include a new “Effective Date.”
By continuing to use the Site or attending Events, you agree to the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, where This Is My LLC is registered, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
